He is one of the most important theoretical sociology. He is responsible for creating a general social theory that explains the overall functioning of society. He is a systemic, which takes the concept of closed system for society, living beings and human beings. Luhmann believes in his theory, the concept of autopoiesis, used by the Chilean biologist Francisco Varela, this means that systems are reproduced themselves.
The interesting and attractive of this theory is that Niklas spoke of communication as the basis of society that depends on individuals (psychic systems) but it produces only in the social system rather than individuals.
